Notice: Aidan King, of Maple Drive, Drogheda, peacefully passed away on July 27, 2023 at Silverstream Nursing Home in Duleek. He was previously from Garvilla in Clogherhead. He is survived by his loving daughter Aishling, his parents Mary and Jim, his sister Anne {Reilly}, his brothers Seamus and Ronan, and his brother-in-law Seamus. He is also mourned by his sisters-in-law Deirdre and Michelle, as well as his nieces, nephews, grandnephew, extended family, relatives, and friends. Aidan was preceded in death by his sister Maureen. May he rest in peace.
Aidan will be respectfully reposed at Townley’s Funeral Home in Crosslanes, Drogheda, on Saturday from 4pm to 6pm, and on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11.30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, which can be viewed live on the church’s website at http://www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie. Following the Mass, Aidan will be laid to rest in Termonfeckin Old Cemetery. The family kindly requests that only family flowers be sent, with any desired donations made to the Clogherhead RNLI.
