Notice: Alice Guihen, also known as Alice Connolly, passed away at the St. Columcille’s Hospital on May 5th, 2023, with her family by her side. She was previously under the care of the staff at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home in Greystones. Alice was the wife of the late Eamonn Guihen and the sister of the late Paddy Connolly. She was a beloved friend to many who will be missed and fondly remembered by her brother John, sisters-in-law Jenny and Tammy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
Alice’s remains will be available for public viewing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home on May 7th from 5 pm to 6 pm. Her funeral will be held the following day, May 8th, at The Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace. Her burial will take place in the Redford Cemetery in Greystones. The family requested no flowers for the funeral.
Those who cannot attend the funeral can view the mass on the parish webcam on the church’s website. May Alice’s kind soul rest in peace, and her memory be cherished by all who knew her.
