Notice: Alice Walsh of Scartnamore, Glenmore in County Kilkenny passed away peacefully at the age of 88, surrounded by her family on May 25th, 2023. Predeceased by her husband, parents, brothers, and grandaunt, Alice will be deeply missed by her daughter Jacqueline, sons Jimmy and Edward, son-in-law George, daughters-in-law Jackie and Yvonne, grandchildren Emilio, Silvio, Sarah, and Nicola, sister Rosaleen, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, and friends. Alice will be remembered fondly by her community. Her Requiem Mass will be held at the Church of The Assumption, Slieverue, at 1:30 pm on May 28th, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Alice’s family invites those who would like to pay their respects to her memory to attend the reposing on May 27th at Power’s Funeral Home in Ferrybank, from 5:30 pm, and the removal at 7:30 pm.
