Anne Carmel Coughlan{née Doyle}

Notice: Formerly residing in multiple locations including O’Connell Avenue, St. John’s Road in Wexford, as well as ‘Abkhazia’ in Curragreen, Galway and Parke House in Kilcock, Kildare, Anne was the beloved wife of the late Prof. Michael Coughlan {who passed away in 1993} and the mother of Tara, Sorcha, Cillian, and Neal. She was a cherished Nana to Emma, Brian, Jack, Hannah, Toby, April, and Zoe, and a loving mother-in-law to Darragh, Tom, and Sinead. Anne was also a sister to John, Mary, and Dick, and was preceded in death by her siblings Kathleen, Andy, Alsie, Larry, Paddy, Lily, Jenny, Thelma, and Nuala. She will be deeply missed by her extensive extended family, nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friends, especially Carmel and Marie.

The family extends their gratitude to all those who cared for Anne, including the medical, nursing, and orthopedic staff at Tallaght University Hospital and Cherry Blossom Tymon, as well as the exceptional staff at Parke House. They also wish to express a special thank you to the dedicated health care assistants who played an integral role in Anne’s care in her last days.

May her faithful soul rest in peace.

Anne’s removal will take place on Friday morning from William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home on Church Street in Kilcock {W23 XC90} to St Coca’s Church in Kilcock, where a funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon. The family burial will be held on Saturday in Galway.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
