Notice: Anne Gavin {née Kilcoyne}, aged 81, peacefully passed away on July 22nd, 2023, with her family by her side at Mayo University Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Deegan, and her partner, Barry, as well as her grandchildren, Conor and Sarah. Anne’s husband, Paddy, and her brother, Michael, predeceased her. She will be deeply mourned and greatly missed by her sister, Mary Cusack, her brother, Tommy, as well as her extended family and wide circle of friends.
Anne’s body will be at rest at Sweeney’s Funeral Home in Louisburgh on Sunday, July 23rd, starting at 5 pm, with a removal ceremony at 7 pm to the Church of the Holy Family in Killeen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 12 noon, followed by her interment in the adjacent cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Order of Malta in Louisburgh through Sweeney Funeral Directors.
