Anne PURDON{née Cairnes}

Notice: Anne Purdon, formerly of Stameen, Drogheda, Co. Louth, passed away on March 14, 2023, at Orwell Nursing Home at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Denis and a loving mother to her four daughters. Anne lived a full life surrounded by family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A private family cremation took place, and her ashes will be interred in the Purdon family plot following a Memorial Service at St. Etchen’s Church, Killucan, on Sunday, May 14. Anne was a dear friend to many and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Her legacy lives on through her four daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed to have shared in her life. Anne lived life to the fullest, always surrounded by family and friends. Her passing has left a void in many hearts, and she will be greatly missed. A private family cremation was held, and a Memorial Service will be held on May 14 at St. Etchen’s Church, Killucan, in celebration of Anne’s life. Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives on through all those who knew and loved her.
