Notice: Anne Whitley {nee Cox}, of Eighter, Virginia, Co. Cavan, passed away peacefully at St. Colmcilles Nursing Home in Kells at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles. Anne was a beloved mother to Elizabeth, Martina, Harold, and Glenys. She will be deeply missed by her children, as well as her sister Edith, brother-in-law Raymond, cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Matthews Funeral Home in Virginia on Sunday from 6 pm until the prayer service at 8:30 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday at St. Bartholomew’s Church Of Ireland in Munterconnaught, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. The family kindly requests no flowers, and instead, donations can be made to the Munterconnaught Church of Ireland Repair Fund.
Anne Whitley will forever be remembered as being “Safe In The Arms Of Jesus.”
