On the 6th of August 2023, peacefully in her 101st year, Annie passed away surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband William, her brother Eddie, and her sister Bridget {Bea}.
Her devoted family, daughters Anne Guckian {Carrick-on-Shannon} and Mary, son Willie, and their spouses Eddie and Bridget, will deeply regret and miss her presence. Annie will also be remembered fondly by her beloved grandchildren Elizabeth, Aine, Sarah, Claire, Liam, Colm, Enda, Donal, and great-grandchildren Jack, Amy, Emily, Rachel, Lauren, Caitlin, Harry, James, and Aoibhe. She is survived by her brothers Dr. John {Barna, Galway} and Pat {Keshcarrigan}, sisters-in-law Sheila and Peggy, as well as nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
May she Rest in Peace.
A time for visitation will be held at her residence on Monday, August 7th from 2 o’clock to 5 o’clock, followed by a removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Leitrim Village, arriving at 7 o’clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday at 12 o’clock, and Annie will be laid to rest in Kiltoghert Cemetery.
