Notice: Avesia Beamish, of Inchydoney, Clonakilty and formerly of Upper Cove, Schull, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2024 while in the care of the staff at Bushmount Nursing Home in Clonakilty, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jackie, and the much-loved mother of Elizabeth {Patterson} and Leslie. Avesia will be greatly missed by her family, including her son-in-law George, grandchildren Henry, Helen, Elaine, Deborah and John, as well as her great-grandchildren Chloe, Kayla and Ben, and other relatives, friends and residents of Bluebell House at Bushmount Nursing Home. She was the sister of the late Nan, Kathleen, and John, and is survived by her sister Hester {Godfrey}, and many other loved ones. Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Monday, February 5th, 2024 from 6.30pm to 8pm followed by removal to Kilgarriffe Church, Clonakilty. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 at 1.30pm and will be livestreamed. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Cancer Connect. Avesia will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty. “Safe in the arms of Jesus”
