Bartholomew {Bartley} Herlihy

Notice: BARTHOLOMEW HERLIHY {known as Bartley} passed away peacefully at St. John’s Hospice in London on April 12th, 2023. He was the beloved son of Josephine and Bartholomew and was preceded in death by his brothers Ted, Edward, and Micky. Bartley will be dearly missed by his brother William, sisters Mary and Brigid, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law, nephews Paul Colm, David, Robert Owen, and James, nieces Melissa, Sarah Jane, and Josephine, as well as his extended family and friends.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at 11am in St. Mary’s Church in Schull, with the burial of ashes following immediately in Schull Cemetery. The family kindly requests that only family flowers be provided, and donations can be made to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind in lieu of flowers.
