Bartholomew {Batty} Mc Grath

Notice: Bartholomew {Batty} McGrath, a resident of Ardnaglass, Ballymote, Co. Sligo, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 2, 2023. Batty was preceded in death by his sister Mollsie and his brothers Tom and Pa. He is survived by his beloved wife Eileen, daughter Pauline, sons John, Pat, and Declan, as well as several other family members. Batty will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his loved ones, friends, neighbors, and former colleagues at C.I.E.

The funeral arrangements include the opportunity for family, friends, and well-wishers to pay their respects at Batty’s residence on July 3 and 4. The funeral service will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote on July 5, followed by interment at St. Columba’s Cemetery. The family kindly requests that the house remains private to family members on the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Team at North West Hospice, Sligo. The funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the Ballymote Parish website and condolences can be left in the condolence section below.
