Notice: Bernie passed away peacefully in Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock, with her family by her side. She was a beloved wife to Joe and a wonderful mother to four children, Frank, Maggie, Bernie and Ann. Bernie will be missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings and extended family, friends, neighbours, and her carers. A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally, on the 19th of May at 10am. Family flowers will be the only arrangements, but donations to Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock are welcome. Those who are unable to attend the service can watch it online via the link provided. May Bernie’s gentle soul rest in peace. Bernie’s body will be kept at Fanagans Funeral Home on the 18th of May from 5 pm to 7 pm. After the funeral Mass, Bernie will be cremated at Mount Jerome, Harold Cross.
