Bernadette {Bernie} GROGAN {née O’Gorman}

Notice: Bernadette “Bernie” Grogan peacefully passed away at her home on June 30th, 2023 at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Dan and mother of the late Anna Lee. Bernie was also predeceased by her sister Margaret, and her brothers Donie and Martin. She was the loving mother to Joss, Mary, Kathleen, Gillian, and John, and mother-in-law to the late John Nalty. Bernie will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and close friends. May she rest in peace.

Her funeral service will take place on Monday at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Rosegreen, with the Requiem Mass starting at 12:00 noon. The service can also be viewed online at https://funeralslive.ie/bernie-grogan/. Prior to the service, there will be a chance to pay respects and offer condolences at Devitt’s Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Following the Mass, Bernie will be laid to rest in Rosegreen Cemetery.

Bernie will be remembered for her close-knit family and the love and devotion she showed to them. She was also a cherished grandmother to Tracy, Sharon, Edwina, Brian, Carol, Paul, Alan, Lorraine, Denise, Gary, Gráinne, Alison, Barry, and Sinéad, and had 26 great-grandchildren. Bernie’s funeral will take place on Monday at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Rosegreen, followed by burial in Rosegreen Cemetery. Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects at Devitt’s Funeral Home on Sunday evening. May she rest in peace.
