Notice: “On February 24, 2024, Bernie passed away peacefully while under the compassionate care of the staff at Kanturk Community Hospital. She was formerly from Coolykereen, Kanturk, and Clonagonnell, Cavan Town. Bernie was the cherished wife of the late John, devoted mother to Michael, Miriam, and Aidan, and sister to the late Gerald Shannon.
Her loving family, including adored grandsons Eoin and Brian, daughters-in-law Fiona and Finola, sisters-in-law, niece, nephew, relatives, neighbors, and friends, deeply feel her absence. May her faithful soul rest in peace.
Friends and family can pay their respects at Grace’s Funeral Home Kanturk on Sunday from 6:30 pm, with rosary at 7:30 pm. A requiem mass will be held at The Church of the Immaculate Conception Kanturk on Monday at 2 pm, which can be viewed live on Church services Kanturk. Following the service, Bernie will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Cemetery Kanturk.”
