Notice: Bernard {Benny} Gibbons from Newford, Athenry, Co. Galway has passed away. He was predeceased by his wife Ann and sister Ruth. He is greatly missed by his family including sons Bernard and Eddie, daughter Pauline, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Janet, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Michael, sisters Maire and Barbara, sister-in-law Norah, brothers-in-law Michael and Andy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing will take place at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry with removal to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry at 7pm on Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11.30am followed by burial in the New Cemetery, Athenry. The funeral Mass will be live-streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can also be listened to on the parish radio 106.5FM. Bernard {Benny} Gibbons from Co. Galway has passed away leaving behind his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family, relatives, neighbors and friends will greatly miss him. Requiem Mass will take place at Quinn’s Funeral Home while his interment will be in the Athenry Cemetery.
