Bill was a well-known figure in Glanworth, having been the former proprietor of Mac’s Bar as well as a prominent Road Bowling and GAA player. He leaves behind his children Shirley, Bill, and Michael, along with their respective partners and his cherished grandchildren. Bill was also survived by his sister Mary, brother Tom, dear friend Mary Dennehy, and extended family and friends. His reposing will take place at his home on Main Street in Glanworth, followed by a funeral service at the Church of the Holy Cross. Burial will be held at St. Dominic’s New Cemetery in Glanworth, with donations welcomed in honor of Bill to Marymount Hospice.
