Bridget, {Birdie}, Mortimer{née McDermott}

Notice: Bridget Mortimer, known affectionately as Birdie, passed away peacefully in Raheny, Dublin at the age of 94, surrounded by her family and under the compassionate care of the staff at St Francis Hospice. Beloved mother of Margaret, Caroline, Patricia, and Orla, Birdie will be deeply missed by her sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was the last remaining member of her clan. Birdie’s family and loved ones will pay tribute to her life at a Mass on August 2nd at Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace in Raheny, followed by cremation at Glasnevin. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Francis Hospice.

Bridget Mortimer, also known as Birdie, peacefully passed away at the age of 94 in Raheny, Dublin. She will be dearly missed by her sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. As the last surviving member of her clan, Birdie’s life will be celebrated with a Mass at Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace in Raheny, followed by her cremation at Glasnevin. In honor of Birdie’s memory, her family kindly requests no flowers and suggests donations to St Francis Hospice.
