Notice: Bridget {Bride} Sorohan, formerly known as Bridget O’Donnell, peacefully passed away on August 3, 2023, at Beechwood House Nursing Home in Newcastle West. She was surrounded by her family and received exceptional care from the matron and staff. Bride will be deeply missed by her devoted husband John, beloved children Jimmy, John, and Janet, as well as her son-in-law Pete, daughter-in-law Claire, and cherished grandchildren Seán, Finlay, and Phoebe. She is also survived by her sister Nance {Woulfe}, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, and her extended family, neighbors, and friends. May she rest in peace.
The funeral arrangements include a wake at Harnett’s Funeral Home, Abbeyfeale, on August 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following day, August 8, her body will be taken to The Church of The Assumption, Abbeyfeale, for Requiem Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed at the provided website. After the service, Bride’s final resting place will be at Reilig Íde Naofa. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice are welcomed.
