Bridget {Bridie} Doyle{née Whelan}

Notice: In Loving Memory of Bridie Doyle {formerly known as Bridget Whelan} of Iveagh Trust, who peacefully passed away on the 22nd of October 2023, surrounded by her cherished family and cared for by the dedicated staff at Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross. She was the beloved wife of the late Eddie and will be deeply missed by her loving children Gerard, Ciarán, Valerie, and Sharon. Bridie was also a cherished grandmother to Keith, Colm, Laura, Martin, Sinéad, Callum, Darren, and Jake, and a beloved great-grandmother to Sam, Luke, Ella, Senán, and Darragh. She is survived by her sister Nancy, brother Noel, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Brian McElroy Funeral Home in Crumlin Village, with visitation on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm and prayers at 6pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 10am at Whitefriar Street Church, followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium, scheduled to arrive at 12:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross. Donations can be made at https://olh.ie/donate/.
