Notice: Bridget McNamara, aged 80, of Knopogue, Clouna South, Ennistymon, Co. Clare and Carhuclough, Ennistymon, Co. Clare, passed away on July 27th, 2023, surrounded by her family at the High Dependency Unit, University Hospital, Limerick. She is survived by her loving husband Francie, children Bernard, Kevin, Eamonn, Patricia, Vera, Dympna, and Helen, as well as several grandchildren. Bridget’s sisters Marie, Kathleen, Margaret, Mary, and Pauline, and brothers John Joe and Tom, also mourn her loss. She was predeceased by her son Thomas, daughter-in-law Sylvia, sister-in-law Kathleen Callinan, brothers-in-law Frank Coffey, Kieran Glynn, Pat O’Looney, Patrick Breen, and Willie Burke. Bridget will be remembered fondly by her nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Her remains will be reposing at Linnane’s Funeral Home in Ennistymon, Co. Clare on July 30th, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St. Columba’s Church, Clouna. A Requiem Mass will be held at 12.00 noon on July 31st at St. Columba’s Church, followed by burial at Clouna Cemetery. Bridget’s family and friends wish her to rest in peace.
