Bridie Flynn {née McGreal}

Notice: Bridie Flynn {née McGreal}, formerly of Lisanurnan, Hillstreet, Carick-on-Shannon and late of Upper Rover, Arigna and Lisacul, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2023, at the age of 93, under the loving care of the staff at Drumderrig Nursing Home in Boyle. Bridie was preceded in death by her husband Michael, sisters Mary and Una, and brother Paddy. She will be deeply missed by her son Denis, sister Ann {UK}, granddaughters Lorna {and her husband Shane}, Aisling {and her husband Paul}, and Sarah, as well as great-grandchildren Clodagh and Aoibhín, Angela and Louis Massey, Joseph Murphy, and their families. Bridie is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Flynn {Drumshanbo}, Fr. Tomás Flynn, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends. Her funeral arrangements include a repose at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin, with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Arigna {via Lisanurnan, Hillstreet}, followed by a Funeral Mass and burial in the adjacent cemetery.
