Bridie Madden {née Moylan}

Notice: Bridie Moylan peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, June 29th, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family. Bridie was predeceased by her parents Michael and Bridie Moylan, as well as her brothers Patrick, Michael, Charlie, Sean, and sister Nancy. She is survived by her devoted husband Connie and her children Michael Ridge, Sean Ridge, Richard Ridge, and Catherine Madden Downey. Bridie will be dearly missed by her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, twin sister Kay Jardine, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all of her friends and neighbors.

Bridie will be resting at Diginity Funeral Care on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, July 1st. Her funeral cortége will leave her home on Sunday morning to arrive at Saint Brigid’s Church, where a Mass will be celebrated for her soul, followed by her burial at Calvary Cemetery. The family requests no flowers, but welcomes donations to St Dympna’s Adult Day Service in Portumna. A condolence book has been opened in Bridie’s memory for family and friends to leave messages.
