Notice: Carmel O’Boyle, formerly of Belfast, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, surrounded by her loved ones. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Sean. Carmel will be deeply missed by her sons Aidan and Kevin, daughter-in-law Sarah, grandchildren Kate and Caimin, as well as her brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. May she rest in peace.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Townley’s Funeral Home in Crosslanes on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11.30am on Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, with live streaming available at https://www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie/. Following the Mass, Carmel will be laid to rest in Reilig Mhuire, Piltown.
