Notice: The passing of Carmel Strickland {née Lenihan} of Hopestown, Ballinea, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Connaught St., Phibsborough and Prospect Square, Glasnevin, Dublin has occurred peacefully on April 4, 2024, surrounded by her family at Roselodge Nursing Home Killucan at the age of 91.
Remembered with love by her daughter Barbara, grandchildren Sarah and Jason, great grandchildren Ruby, Cathal, Caoimhe, Laoise, and Cian, sister Jean {USA}, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her husband Brian, son-in-law Alec {Henry}, and sisters Maureen and Peggy.
May her gentle soul find eternal rest.
Visitation at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home Mullingar N91 K660 on Sunday, April 7th from 4 pm with prayers at 5 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, April 8th at 10.30 am at St Peter’s Church, Phibsborough, followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
