The death of Catherine Burke, formerly of Ballycreen, Ring, Co. Waterford and residing in Rushden Close, Southways, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, occurred peacefully on August 19, 2023. Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Francis Burke, daughter of Jack and Mary McGrath, and sister of the late Ollie and her twin sister Maura.
She is deeply mourned by her loving sons Gerard and Robert, daughters Helena Doey and Catherine Fadden, brothers Tony, Sean and Munchin, sisters Helen Joyce, Pat McCarthy, Bridget Landers and Claire Dee, as well as her daughters-in-law Rebecca and Samantha, sons-in-law Lawrence Doey and Gary Fadden, and grandchildren Alex, Lucy, Ella, Joe, Tom, Sian, Louis, Louise, Matthew, and Mollie. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers-in-law Anthony Landers and John Dee, sisters-in-law Eileen Burke, Sheila, Mary, and Bernie McGrath, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Aidan Walsh and Sons Funeral Home in Cappoquin, where Catherine will be lying in repose on August 23rd from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. John the Baptist Church in Affane on August 24th at 11.00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
