Catherine passed away peacefully on August 3rd, 2023 at St. Francis Hospice in Blanchardstown, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family. She was formerly from Lissacarra, Kilkerrin, Co. Galway, and Tullamore Road, Clara, Co. Offaly. Catherine’s beloved husband John had passed away on July 23rd, 2023. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Mary and Eleanor, and her brother Miceál. Left to mourn her loss are her loving son James, daughter-in-law Angela, granddaughters Ellie and Lucy, sister Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will take place at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore, on Sunday {August 6th} from 6pm with a Rosary at 8pm. On Monday morning, there will be a procession from her home to St. Patrick’s Church in Moate, where a Requiem Mass will be held at 12 noon. Catherine will be laid to rest afterwards in the Monastery Cemetery in Clara.
