Catherine peacefully passed away on August 3rd, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at St. Francis Hospice in Blanchardstown, Dublin. She had previously resided in Lissacarra, Kilkerrin, Co. Galway, and Tullamore Road, Clara, Co. Offaly. Catherine recently lost her beloved husband John on July 23rd, 2023. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Mary and Eleanor, as well as her brother Miceál. Deeply missed by her devoted son James, daughter-in-law Angela, granddaughters Ellie and Lucy, sister Margaret, as well as her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The viewing will take place at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home on Harbour Street, Tullamore, from 6pm to the Rosary at 8pm on Sunday, August 6th. Her funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Moate on Monday morning at 12 noon, followed by burial in the Monastery Cemetery in Clara.
