Notice: Catherine {Kay} Meade, a resident of Dublin and Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2023. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter Terri and family. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Walter and daughter Catherine. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Terri, sons-in-law Joe and Barry, grandchildren, their partners Michelle & Ed, Nicola & Nick, Ronan & Sinéad, great-grandchildren Ruairí, Róisín, Austin, Luca, and Fleur, brother-in-law Joe, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, late friend Norman, carer Sarah, and her kind neighbors in Dublin and Wicklow. Kay was a lifelong member of An Óige. May she rest in peace.
The reposing of Kay’s remains will take place at Joe and Terri’s residence in Donard, Co. Wicklow on July 23, from 12 noon until 8 pm. A Requiem Mass will be held at The Church of Our Lady of Dolours and St. Patrick in Glen of Imaal, Co. Wicklow, on July 24 at 11 am, followed by her interment at Mount Venus Cemetery in Dublin at approximately 1.30 pm.
