Notice: Catherine {Kitty} Quinn, nee Mackey, has passed away in Woodstown, County Waterford at the age of 87. She was formerly of Summerhill Terrace and Viewmount in Waterford City. Predeceased by her siblings Tony, John, and Betty, and her daughter-in-law Evelyn, she is survived by her loving husband Patrick {Paddy}, children Mark, Owen, and Cathy, grandchildren Sophie, Sam, and Sadie, Cathy’s partner Séan, brother Peter, sister-in-law Caroline, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Friends and family can pay their respects at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on 18th May, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, with vigil prayers and a rosary at 8 pm. The funeral service will take place the following day in St. Marys Church, Ballygunner at 11:30 am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Those who cannot attend the funeral can watch the Mass via the link provided on Thompsons Funeral Home’s website. Family flowers only, with donations if desired to Waterford Hospice.
