Catherine Lavin {née Murphy}

Notice: Catherine Lavin, formerly known as Catherine Murphy, passed away peacefully in the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar. She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Katie, as well as her brother Michael John. Catherine is deeply mourned and greatly missed by her devoted husband Tom, her daughters Eibhlín and Caitríona, and son-in-law Mark. She was also cherished by her grandson Sé and her surviving siblings Mary Jo, Una, David, and Gerard. Catherine will also be remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.

Her funeral arrangements include a viewing at O’Hora’s Funeral Home in Kiltimagh on Tuesday evening, followed by a Mass at the Church of the Holy Family in Kiltimagh on Wednesday.
