Catherine Leahy {formerly known as Catherine Sage}, of Railway View and formerly Lacey Avenue in Templemore, Co. Tipperary, passed away peacefully on the 6th of August 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family after displaying immense bravery during a short illness.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father Jimmy and her brother Seamus.
She is deeply missed by her devoted husband Oliver, daughter Catherine, sons Michael, Noel, Brendan, Cathal, and Stefan. She is also survived by her mother Kathleen, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A funeral service for Catherine will take place at Grey’s Funeral Home in Templemore on Tuesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. The requiem mass will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Templemore. Catherine will then be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
