Notice: In the peaceful surroundings of Farranlea Road Nursing Home, Christy passed away, formerly of Laharn, Kilcorney, and Ballinadrideen, Ballyhea. He was preceded in death by his beloved sisters Maura {Mary} and Gretta, as well as his brothers Peter and Jerome, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and particularly his brother-in-law Pat O’Brien. Christy is deeply mourned by his devoted wife Mary {nee O’Brien}, sisters-in-law Chrissie and Joan {Winkle}, his late brother-in-law’s wife Noreen, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbors, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at Crowley’s Funeral Home Ballincollig on Tuesday from 5pm until 6pm. His Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am at the Church of St. Mary & St. John Ballincollig {P31EF97}. A livestream of the mass can be accessed Here. Following the service, Christy will be laid to rest in Ballyhea New Cemetery.
