Christy {Christopher} Ebbs

Notice: Ebbs Christy of Dublin 12, formerly of Submarine Bar, Crumlin and The Traders, Greenhills, passed away peacefully on May 12th, 2023 at St. James’s Hospital. Christy was surrounded by his loving family and is survived by his wife Valerie, children Brian and Julie, and his grandchildren Caoimhe, Áine, Sarah, Rachel and Niamh. The family will deeply miss Christy, who was also cherished by his sister, brother, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home in Crumlin Village on May 17th from 5pm to 7pm, Christy’s funeral mass will be held at St. Agnes’s Church in Crumlin Village on May 18th at 10am, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. For those unable to attend in-person, the mass and cremation services will be available via livestream. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and instead asks for messages of condolence to be shared in the provided condolence book.

Christy’s passing has been deeply felt by the Dublin community, who remember him fondly as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. May he rest in peace.
