Notice: Claire Murphy, formerly known as Claire Murray of Navan, passed away after a brief illness while under the compassionate care of the Our Lady’s Hospital staff in Navan. She is preceded in death by her parents Mattie and Annie, sisters Nancy and Moira, brother Mattie, and her cherished husband John. She is deeply missed by her devoted sons Kevin and David, daughters-in-law Linda and Marie, grandchildren Stephen, James, Robert, Sarah, and Roisin, great-grandchildren David, Noah, Ariella, Danny, Remy Rae, sister-in-law Bridie, nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends. Claire will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at Fitzsimons Funeral Home in Navan on Sunday afternoon. The viewing will begin at 4 pm, followed by a procession to St. Mary’s Church at 6:15 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning at 10 am, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery. If you are unable to attend the service in person, you may watch the livestream on the parish website. You are also invited to leave messages of condolence for Claire’s family in the Condolence Book.
