Notice: Colette Holmes, formerly known as Colette Boland, passed away peacefully on August 22nd, 2023 at Milford Care Centre in Limerick. She was the cherished wife of the late Dr. John A. Holmes and the loving mother of Ken, Sue, Alan, Paul, and the late Marguerite. Colette will be deeply missed by her beloved sisters Sheila {Dearing} in Vancouver, Patricia {Dowling} in Dublin, and Deirdre {Bolger} in Gorey, as well as her daughters-in-law Kathleen, Wendy, and Catherine, her adored grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and her wide circle of friends in Dublin, Limerick, and the golfing community. She is preceded in death by her brothers Paddy and Raymond.

Visitation will take place at Thompson’s Funeral Home on Thomas Street on Thursday, August 24th from 6pm to 7.30pm. The funeral will be held at Saint Peter and Paul’s Church in Crecora on Friday, August 25th, with Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjacent cemetery.
