Colm Lydon {Ó Loideáin}

Notice: Colm Ó Loideáin has passed away peacefully following an illness borne with great dignity at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved husband of Betty, he leaves behind a loving family including his children Micheál, Séamus, Cormac and Siobhán and his grandchildren Elliot, Robin, Cillian, Luca, Anna, and baby Cían. Colm was predeceased by his parents, Michael Tim and Máire and his brothers Aongus and Tadhg. Reposing was held at his home on Thursday, May 11 with his funeral being held the next day at the Church of Our Lady of The Rosary, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6 followed by burial in Kiltale cemetery, Co. Meath. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Hugh Cooney Fund {support for cancer in St. Vincent’s} was requested. Colm, who is deeply regretted, will be remembered fondly by his family and wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace.
