Cora McGettigan {née Embleton}

Notice: Cora McGettigan {née Embleton} has passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband James, sons Peter and Philip, and sister Anne Embleton. Cora is deeply mourned and greatly missed by her sons Paul, Jimmy, Leslie, Eric, and David, as well as her daughters Sandra, Donna, Ursula, and Cora. She is also survived by her sisters Jean, Marie, brothers Lee and Eric, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, in-laws, and friends. Her requiem Mass will be held at St. Eunan’s Cathedral Letterkenny on July 1st, with burial in the family plot at New Leck Cemetery. The family requests that any donations be made to the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital in Cora’s memory.
