Notice: Daniel Prendergast, a resident of New York and Shanid, Shanagolden, Co. Limerick, passed away unexpectedly on July 22nd, 2023. He was a devoted husband to Marie, a loving father to Alannah and Lauren, and a cherished son of Dan and Kathleen. Daniel was also a beloved brother to Christine. He will be deeply missed and mourned by his family, including his brothers-in-law Adrian and Ciaran, his nephews Paddy, Conor, and CJ, his niece Ali, as well as his relatives, neighbors, and many friends. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
The funeral arrangements for Daniel Prendergast are as follows: The wake will be held at Madigan’s Funeral Home in Shanagolden on Tuesday, August 1st, from 6PM-8PM. A Requiem Mass will take place at St. Senan’s Church in Shanagolden on Wednesday, August 2nd, at 12 noon, followed by burial in Shanagolden Cemetery. The family kindly requests that only family flowers be sent and suggests making donations to the Irish Cancer Society instead.
