Notice: We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear David. Words cannot express the profound sadness we feel, as our lives will never be the same without him. David was a beloved son, partner, father, and grandad who will be forever cherished. He was the son of Des and the late Lana {nee Hallahan}, the loving partner of Leah, and the adored father of Ali and Emily. He brought immense joy to our lives, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. Our hearts ache for his partner, daughters, granddaughter, father, sisters Jillian and Jane, brothers Desmond and Niall, Leah’s children Luke and Ella-Mae, the Barry-Murphy family, brothers-in-law Jason and John, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, and countless friends who will dearly miss him.
We kindly invite you to pay your respects to David as he will be resting at Cahill’s Funeral Home, Newtown Road, Cobh, on Sunday, August 13, 2023, starting at 4:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. The following day, August 14, 2023, David will be transported from his Dad’s home in Wilmount Park to St. Colman’s Cathedral for an 11:00 a.m. Requiem Mass, followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on http://www.cobhcathedralparish.ie.
