Davida Murdoch{née Franklin}

Notice: Davida Murdoch {nee Franklin} passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2024 in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Dublin. She was lovingly surrounded by her family and cared for by the staff of the Cedar Ward. Davida, beloved wife of Henry for over 50 years, and devoted mother to Maeve and Breffni, will be deeply missed by her loved ones, including her sisters Wendy and Doreen, her son-in-law Ahmed, daughter-in-law Rebecca, seven grandchildren, nephew Alistair, and her wide circle of friends. A private cremation was held at Mount Jerome Crematorium on February 2nd, 2024, and Davida’s ashes will be interred with her infant son Joseph Henry. A series of memorial lunches will be held to honor her memory, and donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the National Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in Dun Laoghaire.
