Notice: Denis Peter Slattery, a former navigator for the RAF, Aer Lingus and Alia {Royal Jordanian Airlines}, has passed away at the age of 98. He died peacefully while under the care of Hamilton Ward at Beaumont Hospital. Slattery was the youngest son of Jerome and Adelaide Slattery, formerly of Blennerville House in Tralee, and a beloved uncle of Philip and Alex. The family thanked everyone who had cared for Slattery, including his team of carers, extended family, friends, and neighbors. Slattery will be reposing at his residence in Raheny on May 26th from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, and his funeral will take place on May 27th, with a funeral mass at Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church in Raheny at 10am, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery. The funeral mass will be streamed live for those who cannot attend in person.
