Derek Nesbitt

Notice: Nesbitt Derek, a loving father of two and grandfather of one, has passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospice in Raheny. Nesbitt was the son of Kay and Jimmy and had a partner named Jackie. His siblings include sisters Adrienne and Paula, and he was predeceased by his brother Stephen. Nesbitt will be missed by his family, Jackie’s children and grandchildren, as well as his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. Nesbitt’s wake will be held at Jackie’s home from 4-7pm on May 8th, and his funeral mass will take place the next morning at St. Brendan’s Church in Coolock, followed by a cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Francis Hospice in Raheny are welcomed.

Throughout his life, Nesbitt touched the lives of many with his kind and loving spirit. His family requests that all donations go towards St. Francis Hospice, where he was lovingly cared for during his final days. Though Nesbitt has now passed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Nesbitt Derek.
