Reposing at his home on May 16 from 3 pm to 6 pm, the funeral mass for Derek will be held on May 17 at St. Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue, at 11 am. The burial will follow at Mount Jerome Cemetery. Only family members are permitted to attend the wake after 6 pm. For those who cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed on the St. Teresa’s website on the day of the funeral. Derek’s passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew him and his presence will be deeply missed.
Derek Radford, known affectionately as Rasher, passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 15, 2023. He is survived by his four children, Jennifer, Michelle, Nicola, and Darren, and their mother Anna, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. The wake will only be open to family from 3 to 6 pm on May 16 before the funeral Mass takes place at St. Teresa’s Church on May 17. Derek’s legacy will live on, but his passing is still deeply felt by those who knew him. The funeral service will be streamed on the St. Teresa Church’s website, accessible to those who cannot attend. His presence in the family and local community was invaluable, and he will be greatly missed.
