Dermot {Der} Lucey

Notice: Dermot Lucey of Dublin Hill, Cork peacefully passed away on June 27th, 2023 at the Mercy University Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Dermot was the beloved husband of the recently deceased Mary, and the loving father of Elaine, Dermot, Paul, Ruth, Colin, and Ronan. He was also a cherished grandfather to Mark, Peter, Sophie, Hannah, Martha, Kaiden, Darragh, and Tadhg. Dermot will be deeply missed by his family, including his brothers Jim and Aidan, sister Pearl, daughters-in-law Olivia, Catherine, Valerie, and Lorna, son-in-law Mark, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will take place at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday, June 29th, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, June 30th, at 11:00am at the Church of the Annunciation in Blackpool, followed by the funeral at Dun Bolg. Those who wish to express their condolences to Dermot’s family are invited to leave a personal message in the condolence section below.
