Des peacefully passed away at his residence on the 4th of April 2024. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Betty, daughters Olive, Linda, and Cindy, sons Des and Brian, daughter-in-law Gemma, grandchildren Luke, Caoimhe, and Jack, as well as his brothers, sisters, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
May his faithful soul rest in peace.

Visitation will be held at Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny {R95XE00} on Friday {5th April} from 4pm to 7pm, with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 5.30pm. A Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday at 10.30am in St. Colman’s Church, Clara, Co. Kilkenny {R95K290}, followed by burial in the nearby cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made.
