Preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother-in-law, and nephew, Dessie is survived by his sisters, Maeve Guckien and Beryl, brother Raymond, sister-in-law Noereen, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, neighbors, and friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home in Ballyfarnon, Dessie’s remains will be available for viewing on Saturday evening from 3.30 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. Thereafter, he will be moved to St. Michael’s Church in Cootehall with a scheduled arrival time of 6.30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Sunday morning at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in Ardcarne Cemetery.
