Notice: Dolores Dawson, affectionately known as Lola, passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in the loving company of her family and the staff of the Ailbhe Ward. She was survived by her beloved husband John, and her children Paul, Fran, Edel, Bob, Anne, and Martina, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Lola’s remains will be reposed at the Kirwan Funeral Home on May 9th, with a viewing for visitors from 2 pm to 5 pm, and the requiem mass will be held the following day at St. Canice’s Church, followed by a Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. The family asks that any donations and flowers be sent to St. Vincent de Paul’s St. Fergal’s Conference. Lola’s Funeral Mass and Cremation Service can also be viewed through shared links for those who cannot attend the funeral. May Lola rest in peace.
