Eddie May

Notice: Formerly from Ballymun and Portmarnock, Dublin, as well as Ballacolla, County Laois, our beloved Eddie passed away peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife Sally {Gibbons}, his mother Mary May, his brother Michael, his sister Imelda, and his grandchild Katie. Eddie will be deeply missed by his loving family members, Edward, Ciaran, Tony, and Tara, as well as their partners Elaine, Celine, and Claire. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren Andrew, Nicole, Ryan, Stephen, Mollie, Mia, Sophie, Ella, Aeisha, Nyan, Adison, and Nate, and his great-grandchild Lottie. Additionally, Eddie is survived by his sister-in-law Kathleen, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

We pray that Eddie may rest in peace.

There will be a time for friends and family to pay their respects at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington {eircode R32 X5XV} on Tuesday evening, August 22nd, from 7pm until 8pm. A celebration of Eddie’s life will take place at Dardistown Crematorium on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 12:30pm. Cremation will follow afterwards.
