Notice: Eddie Smith, a resident of Termon, Virginia, Co Cavan, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 12th, 2023. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann-Marie, and his mother, Maura. He is survived by his father, Patsy, brother Michael, sisters Catriona and Anna, three children, father-in-law PJ, mother-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Colm, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The family has requested that funeral flower donations be avoided and instead asked for donations to the Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care organization. Eddie’s viewing will take place on May 13th and 14th at his residence, with his funeral mass taking place on May 15th at St. Ultan’s Church. The funeral will be followed by burial in St. Ultan’s Cemetery, and a live stream of the funeral mass will be available for viewing online. The house will be kept private on Monday morning.
