Notice: Eddie, formerly of Waterford County Council and Community Radio Youghal, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with a long illness. He was lovingly cared for by the staff at St. Vincent’s Unit and Dungarvan Community Hospital. He was the beloved son of the late William and Mary and will be deeply missed by his sister Maureen, brother-in-law Billy, nieces Anne-Marie and Helen, nephews Tommy, Liam, Brendan, and James, as well as extended family, friends, and neighbors. Eddie will be remembered as a dedicated member of his community and his kind spirit will be greatly missed.
There will be a chance to pay respects to Eddie as he lies in repose at Egans Funeral Home in Greencloyne Youghal on Wednesday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday at 11am in St. Cronan’s Church, Clashmore. Private Cremation will follow at a later time. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Dungarvan Community Hospital. May Eddie rest in peace.
